What Size Collar Should I Order

Start by measuring your dog’s neck around the widest part (near the base) and add two inches. You should always be able to slip two fingers between your dog’s neck and the collar.

Our standard sizes for buckle collars are:

  • Size Extra Small – 5/8″ wide and fits a 7-11″ neck
  • Size Small- 5/8″ wide and fits 9-14″ neck
  • Size Medium- 5/8″ or 1″ wide and fits 12-19″ neck
  • Size Large – 1″ or 1.5″ wide and fits 14-24″ neck
  • Size Extra Large – 1.5″ wide and fits 17-29″ neck

Custom sizes are available, please contact us for details. Unfortunately for hygienic reasons we cannot accept refunds or exchanges so please measure carefully.

How Do You Ship?

We use Canada Post. Shipping within Canada typically ranges between $5-20. Please contact us for more information. Please note we do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO or FPO addresses at this time.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes, please contact us for pricing. Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties and taxes. We are not responsible for these charges and make no calculations or estimates in this regard. If you are buying internationally, you are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

After submitting the order through the website, please send your payment via interac etransfer to contact@ckpets.ca; it’s an easy and secure way to pay since we do not receive any banking information (don’t forget to let us know the answer to your transfer question). Please let us know if you have any questions on how to make an etransfer or if you are located outside of Canada.

What Materials Are Used To Make Your Collars?

We strong webbing and heavy cast or welded D rings. Our decorative finishes are tested to ensure they are color-fast. Our cat collars use 3/8″ webbing and breakaway buckles. All cat collars come with a bell.

How Should I Care For My Collar or Leash?

You can hand wash your collar or leash in cold water, using a mild detergent and hang to dry.

Can I Use A Cat Collar On My Kitten?

Although we use breakaway buckles in the construction of our cat collars, we don’t recommend using such a collar on a kitten because they tend not weigh enough for this type of buckle to work properly. We recommend waiting until they are 6 months old.
